The end game of a project is a critical time. The team is probably stressed out by now and are busily fixing the bugs that must be resolved before the product is shipped. Here is way to help unify the team and keep the QA folks and the developers working toward the same cause - a high quality, shipped product. In a visible place in the department, mark a set of post-its with indices for each must be fixed (MBF) bug. When a new bug is denoted as 'MBF', a new posit is added to the top of the list. As a developer
fixes an MBF, that person removes the post-it and keeps it to show off at a daily status meeting. The project manager marks certain post-its with rewards for the entire team (QA, doc, and developers). The rewards are given out at the team meeting to the entire team. Again, innovate on ways to build up that team!
